Rekonstruksi Konsep Three Zeros Muhammad Yunus dalam Pengentasan Kemiskinan Era Artificial Intelligence: Perspektif Ekonomi Islam
Abstract
The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created a paradox in the contemporary economic system. While AI significantly improves productivity and efficiency, it simultaneously increases the risk of structural unemployment, digital inequality, and new forms of poverty. Previous studies have widely discussed Muhammad Yunus’s Three Zeros framework and Islamic economic instruments separately. however, limited studies have explored their conceptual integration in addressing poverty challenges in the AI era. This study aims to examine the relevance of Muhammad Yunus’s Three Zeros concept Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, and Zero Net Carbon Emissions in poverty alleviation from the perspective of Islamic economics. This research employs a qualitative approach using conceptual and library research methods. Data were collected through literature selection from books, scientific journals, and contemporary academic publications related to social business, Islamic social finance, digital transformation, and AI-based economic disruption. Data analysis was conducted through qualitative content analysis and critical interpretation. The findings indicate that the Three Zeros framework conceptually aligns with Islamic economic principles, particularly distributive justice, Jihad Ikhtisadi, and Khilafah-Amanah. Furthermore, integrating social business with Islamic social finance instruments especially digital Ziswaf and sharia microfinance offers an alternative framework for strengthening economic resilience and reducing inequality amid technological disruption. This study contributes theoretically by extending the application of the Three Zeros framework into Islamic economics discourse and provides practical implications for developing inclusive and sustainable economic policies in the AI era.
